In the Kitchen: Boil with tea leaves for a dark, deeply spiced Punjabi Chole, or use them as a hearty base for hummus and salads.
Good to Know: An excellent source of plant-based protein and fiber. "Kabuli" refers to Kabul, Afghanistan, the historical trade route through which this larger chickpea variety arrived in India.
