In the Kitchen: Perfect for a comforting chana dal khichdi or toasted in hot oil with mustard seeds for a classic tadka.
Good to Know: Rich in protein and dietary fiber, chana dal is closely related to the chickpea but offers a completely different texture when split and husked.
